Made from 100% natural raffia fibre, it features a subtle glossy finish and flexible feel. Due to the natural variations in colour and texture of raffia, combined with the handmade weaving process, every bag is truly one of a kind, celebrating the unique character of traditional craftsmanship.

This 100% raffia material is a beautiful natural material that is derived from young leaves of the raffia palm tree. Its a popular material for accessories and particular for the summer time. Being a natual fiber, raffia can expect to behave as such. To best care for your raffia items, we recommend the following. Avoid contact with water and moisture. The dye on the raffia is prone to rub off, should the material get wet. Do not apply heat on this material as this could damage the natural fibers. Wear with care, do not wash, do not bleach, iron or dry clean. We additionally recommend paying attention to sharp objects around the bag as it may tear the raffia strings. Lastly, we advise against overfilling your raffia bag. Overfilling the bag may result in the style dropping and elongating.
